Funding Arts Broward Continues to Champion the Arts, 2026 Grant Cycle Breaks Record, Awards $405,000 to 56 Local Programs

Funding Arts Broward (FAB) has announced its most impactful funding cycle to date, awarding a record-breaking $405,000 in grants to 56 exceptional arts and cultural programs across Broward County. This achievement underscores FAB’s steadfast commitment to enriching the local arts community and supporting a vibrant creative ecosystem.

To celebrate, FAB will host its 2026 Grant Awards Ceremony & Cocktail Reception -presented by JP Morgan Private Bank – on Thursday, May 8 from 5 – 7 p.m.at the historic Bonnet House Museum and Gardens in Fort Lauderdale. The evening will include cocktails and lite bites al fresco amid the lush, oceanside setting. Guests will be treated to live mini performances and artistic vignettes from grantees including Hued Songs, Florida Children’s Theatre, Volta Music Foundation, Island City Stage, Brazilian Voices and Japan Arts, offering a glimpse into the rich creativity fostered by FAB’s support.

This past April, FAB’s 2026 Grants Committee reviewed $625,750 in funding requests from new applicants. Following a highly competitive review process, 65% of the total funds requested were awarded, reflecting both the high caliber of submissions and the growing demand for arts funding in the region.
