The twice-weekly, free workout classes will bring Greater Boston’s top fitness instructors to Suffolk Downs from June through September
Today, The HYM Investment Group (“HYM”) in partnership with fitness entrepreneur and event producer Tim Khanoyan announced the launch of Blue Line Flex, a twice-weekly fitness event series hosted at The Yard at Beachmont Square at Suffolk Downs. Kicking off in June, Blue Line Flex will be a summer-long series of free, outdoor workout classes with rotating fitness instructors from across Greater Boston.
“We’re thrilled to announce the Blue Line Flex fitness series kick off at The Yard @ Beachmont Square this June,” said Thomas N. O’Brien, Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of HYM. “Suffolk Downs is a place for the community, and Blue Line Flex will only further energize the space by bringing people together to move, connect, and enjoy all that The Yard has to offer. We’re looking forward to celebrating the official Blue Line Flex kickoff on June 7 as a community.”
With classes every Tuesday at 6pm and Saturday at 10 am, the weekly schedule is packed with new workouts to try, as well as old favorites – all of which are designed for every level of experience. Whether you want to try something new to you, or can’t miss a workout with your favorite instructor, Blue Line Flex has something for everyone.
“The team and I are so excited to be kicking things off at Suffolk Downs this summer,” said Tim Khanoyan. “This collective of instructors is made up of some of the most talented and inspiring fitness leaders in the city. We’re looking forward to bringing the energy to Beachmont Square and creating a welcoming space for the community to move, connect, and have fun together.”
“Blue Line Flex provides an opportunity for reinvigoration through quality, convenient summer workouts to Revere’s workers and commuters, taking place conveniently next to the Beachmont train station, at The Yard at Suffolk Downs,” said Revere Mayor Patrick M. Keefe Jr. “Community building activities are the basis of connection in Revere, and I’m happy to see Suffolk Downs is being used as both a place for personal and professional connection, as well as geographic connection to Beachmont Square and the Greater Boston area.”

Suffolk Downs
In 2017, Suffolk Downs, located in both East Boston and Revere along two MBTA Blue Line Stops, was purchased by HYM and its investors with a vision to create a welcoming neighborhood designed around new ways of living and working. Today, the 161-acre site at Suffolk Downs is being reborn as a new urban district with a dynamic mix of uses and offerings connected and supported by public open space, neighborhood retail, and civic spaces. Suffolk Downs will deliver 5.2M SF of life science and office space, 10.15 M SF of residential space, 450K SF of retail space, 400k SF of hotel space and over 40 acres of open space. Phase 1 of the redevelopment broke ground in May 2022 on the Revere side of the site and the first building, Amaya, delivered in 2024.
