HireRight, a Nashville, TN-based provider of global background screening services and workforce solutions, acquired ClearChecks, a screening provider focused on the small-to-medium-sized business (SMB) market.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition will support HireRight’s efforts to form a technology and service model to the needs of SMBs.
Led by Charlie Cafazza and Dan Ellis, Co-CEOs, ClearChecks is a data and risk-management company for small to enterprise customers. They provide background checks, credit reporting, and other data services for businesses nationwide without collecting and storing sensitive personal information. The company offers services via a global platform that integrates into customers’ human capital management systems enabling workflows for workforce hiring, onboarding, and monitoring.
Led by President and CEO Euan Menzies, HireRight is a provider of technology-driven workforce risk management and compliance solutions. It offers a comprehensive background screening, verification, identification, monitoring, and drug and health screening services for approximately 34,000 customers across the globe.
