Redcar, a San Francisco, CA-based developer of an AI-powered sales agent service for teams, raised $5.3M in funding.
The round consisted of a Seed led by Khosla Ventures and a Pre-Seed led by humbition. Other investors included Elias Torres, Rob Goldman, Stan Chudnovsky, David Patterson, Siqi Chen, and Nancy Xu.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its engineering and product teams, onboard new customers, and continue the development of the AgentExpress platform.
Led by co-founders Er Jia Jiang, Ben Wu, and CEO Jeff Chen, Redcar builds AI agents that adapt to a company’s sales workflow. Its flagship product, the F1 Agent, mimics the workflows of a team’s reps. By automating research, lead qualification, and personalized messaging across public and proprietary data sources, its proprietary AI platform, AgentExpress, enables human reps to focus on closing deals.
