Berkadia Adds To Rapidly Growing Gse Small Balance Loan Platform

Berkadia Small Loans continues to grow rapidly, adding 16 team members in the last 6 months

Berkadia announced today the expansion of its Small Loan platform with the addition of Managing DirectorAdam Dosskey. The platform’s front-end screening and production is led by Christine Pratt,Head of Small Loan Originations, who joined Berkadia in November 2020 to provide structure to the rapidly growing small loan program, which is a significant priority for the organization. Dosskey also joins recent addition Rob Doxsee who came on board the platform in late 2020.

Pratt initially joined Berkadia as Deputy Chief Underwriter, Small Loans, before moving into her current role to provide more strategic leadership for a platformthatgrew 270 percentin 2020,while developing innovative tools and processes for small loans. She brings more than 17 years of multifamily agency experience to her role and a deep background in Freddie Mac’s Optigo®Small Balance Loans program, having both worked at the agency as one of the original members of the SBL program and most recently at Walker& Dunlop rolling out Freddie Mac’s SBL product across the organization. Working with Pratt is Ronnie Cavalieri, Vice President, Small Loan Originations, whorecently joined Berkadia from Capital One, where he was managing their Small Loan Pre-Screen group. He brings more than ten years of agency lending experience with a focus in Small Loans over the past six years.

Dosskey brings over 18 years of experience in commercial real estate lending, most recently as Senior Vice President with CBRE’s Wholesale Lending practice, with a focus on agency small balance multifamily lending. Along with team members Sam Ha and Lars Leweck, the team has ranked among the top teams in in CBRE’s Small Balance Lending group for the past five years, finishing first in volume in 2020.

Doxsee, also from CBRE, served as an Executive Vice President, with Michael Manolides on his team, and ranked first nationally in small loan production at CBRE in 2019. He brings to Berkadia more than two decades of commercial real estate debt experience, with expertise in small balance lending.
