Last week, more than 300 guests gathered at the Grand Lodge in Hunt Valley for the annual Black Tie & Tails Gala, presented by Best Friends Fur Ever Dog Daycare and Overnight Resort. The glamorous evening raised critical funds to support animals in need throughout the community.
With the help of generous sponsors, dedicated attendees, passionate staff, and selfless volunteers, this unforgettable night will go a long way in supporting the ongoing, lifesaving work for local pets in need of care, shelter, and second chances.
“Animal welfare is a top priority for Best Friends Fur Ever, and we want to invest in the people and organizations who support this effort in our community,” said Mary Steinebrunner, President of Best Friends Fur Ever. “This event is a celebration of the incredible bond we share with animals—and a reminder that, together, we can make a real difference.”
The red carpet was rolled out for both two-legged and four-legged guests, who arrived dressed to impress in tuxedos, ball gowns, and bow ties. The evening featured a lively mix of silent and live auctions, delicious food and drinks, great music, and—of course—plenty of pup cups for the furry VIPs.
