TMG Partners CEO and Chairman Michael Covarrubias Announces Senior Leadership Promotions

Matt Field Named Vice Chairman, Ben Kochalski Promoted to President and CIO, and Ken Dupee Assumes Position of Managing Director of Real Estate

Chairman and CEO Michael Covarrubias of TMG Partners, one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s largest mixed-use property developers, announced today three executive team promotions: former co-CEO Matt Field is now Vice Chairman, former Regional Partner Ben Kochalski is promoted to President and CIO, and Ken Dupee, formerly Managing Director of Development is now Managing Director of Real Estate.

Matt Field, with TMG since 1993 and most recently co-CEO with Covarrubias, will now assume the new role of Vice Chairman wherein he will support investment strategy and execution, including both acquisitions and dispositions. He will continue to be a member of the Investment Committee.

Ben Kochalski has been Regional Partner since 2019 and opened the firm’s Silicon Valley office. As President, he will expand his involvement in Company management and as CIO will Chair TMG’s Investment Committee.

Formerly Managing Director of Development, Ken Dupee, with TMG since 1998 leading entitlement, development, lease-up and the sale of 3.7 million square feet of Bay Area office space, is now Managing Director of Real Estate and will thus expand his involvement in all Real Estate responsibilities. Ken will also join the Investment Committee.
