
Equipped with an extensive background in communications and marketing across various sectors, Norris will lead the Clubs’ strategic communications and marketing efforts
Cherrelle Norris has been named the chief communications and marketing officer at Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester (BGCD). She will be responsible for the communications and marketing of their three clubhouses: The Colonel Daniel Marr Clubhouse, The Paul R. McLaughlin Youth Center and the Walter Denney Youth Center.

We are confident that she will significantly enhance our marketing and communications efforts, while helping to amplify the countless positive things happening at the Clubs daily”
Norris comes to Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester with more than 15 years of communications and marketing experience across several sectors. She is a strategic leader who has worked to elevate and amplify the brand and works of mission-based organizations. In this inaugural role for BGCD, she will be part of the executive leadership team where she will lead internal and external communications and marketing strategies.

As a Dorchester Native, I know how impactful and necessary Boys & Girls Clubs are to the youth and their families.”
Before joining BGCD, Norris served as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Harvard University Health Services.
She serves on the Simmons University African American Alumnae/i Association executive board and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America Boston Chapter.
Norris is a graduate of Simmons University, where she obtained her bachelor of arts in professional writing/communications and her masters of science in communications management.
