Swisslog Healthcare, a leading supplier in pharmacy and transport automation solutions, announces the promotion of Matt Andersen to Vice President of Sales for Pharmacy Automation in North America. Andersen, who joined the company three years ago, will lead the strategic direction of the North American Pharmacy Automation Sales teams and Clinical Consultants.
In his new role, Andersen will lead the strategic direction of the North American Pharmacy Automation Sales teams, including both Inside and Outside Sales, as well as the Clinical Consultants. He will use his high-energy approach to sales and deep customer knowledge to drive growth. Andersen plans to focus on creating multiple brand awareness touchpoints for customers, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging sales strategy.

Andersen’s promotion follows a series of achievements at Swisslog Healthcare, including receiving the Rookie of the Year award in 2022 and the Trailblazer Award in 2023. He also earned the Customer-Facing Project of the Year Award in 2022 for his contributions to the successful SCL Lutheran Demo.

Andersen brings 24 years of professional experience to this role, including leadership positions as a Naval Aviator, Senior Engineer in the Energy Industry, and Small Business Owner. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy and an Executive MBA from the University of Denver.
