SFG Wealth Management Appoints Jud Sokol as Wealth Manager

Sokol’s unique experience will enrich SFG and contribute to growth goals

SFG Wealth Management, a comprehensive financial services firm offering retirement, education and estate planning as well as portfolio management and corporate benefits, continues to grow with the addition of Jud Sokol as Wealth Manager.

Sokol brings more than two decades of financial advising experience and is a key addition that supports SFG’s larger expansion goals. He specializes in financial planning, estate and retirement planning, insurance and investment needs, executive compensation, group benefits, asset allocation studies, investment strategies, and college and retirement funding.

Sokol has lived in Baltimore for more than 25 years and raised his children here.He serves on the Board of Maryland Family Network, a private, non-profit organization, focused on child advocacy. He is also a committee member of the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation College Basketball Tip-Off.

Prior to joining SFG, Sokol was Vice President at The Warner Companies and before that he served as Regional Vice President at AXA Advisors, LLC where he recruited, trained and developed new advisors while also building a clientele of high net worth clients and closely held corporations with a focus on retirement planning and risk management strategies. He has also served as a Partner at Garrison Financial, LLC and was Regional Manager at Mass Mutual, receiving several leadership awards. Sokol also has extensive experience developing and growing several golf organizations, including Softspikes, Inc., Forward Links, and Maxfli Golf.

He graduated Denison University with an Economics degree, holds health and insurance licenses and is a registered representative with Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), holding Series 6, 7, 24, 63 and 65 designations.
