IDB Bank Appoints Christian Rocchio as Executive Vice Presidentand Head of New York Private Banking & Wealth Management

IDB Bank, a New York-based private and commercial bank, has announced the appointment of Christian Rocchio as its new Executive Vice President and Head of New York Private Banking & Wealth Management. In this role, Rocchio will serve as a member of IDB’s senior leadership team and will lead the Bank’s multibillion-dollar wealth portfolio for the greater New York region, empowering strategic growth, client success, and the expansion of IDB’s wealth management capabilities.

Rocchio’s appointment signals a new chapter for IDB Bank’s wealth management business, as the Bank continues to bring forward competitive and next-generation banking and financing solutions paired with deep industry expertise. He will play a pivotal role in driving IDB’s enterprise-wide Wealth Management roadmap, leading portfolio growth for New York Private Banking & Wealth Management, and stewarding the success of IDB Lido Wealth JV.

Rocchio brings over 20 years of experience in private banking and wealth management, having held senior leadership roles with tier-1 financial institutions, including Citizens Bank, HSBC, and JPMorgan Chase. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Head of Private Client, Northeast Division at Citizens Bank, where he led private client sales across 300 locations across the East Coast, achieving significant market expansion and investment growth. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, Head of Wealth and Premier Banking, Northeast Division at HSBC, where he drove revenue growth across 100 branches and managed a $20 billion deposit and investment portfolio.
