Arlington’s Rosslyn City Center Getting $35M Renovation

A $35 million renovation project at Rosslyn City Center in Arlington will transform an 84,000-square foot space into a place for all-day dining, working and socializing, real estate lender American Real Estate Partners (AREP) announced Wednesday.

AREP will complete the renovation at 1700 N. Moore St., where DMK Restaurants co-founder David Morton and his partner Scott Gidwitz will anchor the office, retail and transit hub with 29,000 square feet of space. The new space is expected to open in spring 2021.

“As we reimagine Rosslyn City Center, David and Scott have envisioned and will create the food and dining experience that will be a central focus for Rosslyn’s residents, tenants and visitors,” AREP Principal and Chief Operating Officer Paul Schulman said in a statement. “We share a passion for creating a sense of place that delights and inspires and look forward to inviting the community to safely enjoy a one-of-a-kind epicurean experience.”
