WhiteWater Express Acquires LandShark Express Car Was

HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–WhiteWater Express Car Wash, an express car wash platform headquartered in Houston, has acquired the Dallas-Fort Worth based LandShark Express Car Wash. The LandShark acquisition brings WhiteWater to 8 car washes in the Dallas-Fort Worth market with several future sites in development. In addition, WhiteWater has four additional greenfield sites scheduled to open by the end of the year as well as an acquisition under contract for a total of 22 locations by the end of 2020.

LandShark’s founder, Rob Mixon, stated, “Working with WhiteWater was a smooth transaction from start to finish; their professionalism is second to none. We wish them nothing but continued success.”

Over the last year WhiteWater has continued to advance its greenfield development efforts, opening three sites located in Springwoods (Houston), Keller (Dallas-Fort Worth), and Katy (Houston). All sites offer unlimited memberships, towel exchange program, vacuums, and air guns.

WhiteWater recently added Henry Shine as its Chief Development Officer to lead the company’s greenfield development, acquisition, and partnership efforts. Previously, Henry was Vice President of Strategy and Acquisitions at True Blue Car Wash where he helped grow True Blue from 28 to 43 locations and oversaw operations for the company’s New England and Midwest regions. Henry was formerly a Senior VP at Macquarie in its Principal Investing group where he sourced and led investments in real estate, renewable energy, and software and services businesses. He also held analyst roles at Silver Point Capital, an $8 billion hedge fund, and at Morgan Stanley in the investment banking division. Henry is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.

When asked about why he made the decision to join WhiteWater, Henry stated, “I am truly excited to join the WhiteWater team. The team has already proven that we can grow through greenfield development and acquisitions, and we offer compelling options to operators who are not looking to sell their businesses outright through both development partnerships and future equity upside. I look forward to continuing to expand on our efforts to date.”

WhiteWater is actively pursuing its growth strategy in both existing and new markets. For any inquiries about the growth initiatives of WhiteWater, please contact Henry Shine at hshine@whitewatercw.com
