AGM Financial Services is proud to announce that Matt Daddio, Deputy Chief Underwriter, Vice President at AGM, has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the Howard County Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). Daddio was nominated by Howard County Executive Calvin Ball and subsequently confirmed by the Howard County Council.
In addition to his appointment, Daddio has been voted Vice Chair of the Board, underscoring the confidence placed in his expertise and leadership abilities.
This appointment marks a significant milestone for Daddio, who grew up in Howard County and returned two years ago after spending much of his adult life in Baltimore City. His deep connection to the area, combined with his professional experience in financing affordable housing, positions him uniquely to contribute to the County’s housing and community development initiatives.
The Howard County DHCD plays a crucial role in creating and preserving affordable housing units for low- and moderate-income residents. The department administers various Federal, State, and County-funded programs, providing access to affordable homeownership and rental units, offering loans for down payment and closing cost assistance, and conducting homebuyer education classes.
Kelly Cimino, Director of the Howard County DHCD, commented on the appointment: “Matt is a great addition to the Howard County Housing and Community Development Board because he understands affordable housing financing structures and supports increased affordable housing opportunities in Howard County.”
