Offit Kurman is pleased to announce that Wojciech “Voytek” Jackowski, principal and shareholder in the firm’s construction law, transactions and disputes practices, has been appointed to serve on the Construction Law Committee for the New York City Bar Association. Voytek’s term will begin on September 11, 2024, and conclude on July 31, 2027.
Committee service provides legal professionals with the opportunity to influence the development of laws and public policy, enhance their expertise, and engage in meaningful networking with peers. In his role as a committee member, Voytek will participate in key activities, including drafting reports, testifying on legislation, submitting briefs, and sponsoring continuing legal education programs. He will also have the opportunity to contribute to public service projects aimed at benefiting the legal profession and the community at large.
Voytek’s extensive experience in construction law and commitment to advancing legal standards in the field will make him a valuable asset to the committee. The incoming Chair of the Construction Law Committee, Jeffrey R. Escobar of Locke Lord, will lead the team in its efforts to support and improve construction law practices in New York.
