In a transformative collaboration with Unispace and Downstream, Zoom is redefining the form and function of their new London office
Zoom Video Communications, Inc., the global leader in video-first communications, has created a cutting-edge London office in partnership with workplace design and build leader, Unispace, and experience design agency, Downstream. This innovative new space, integrating Zoom’s industry-leading technology, is designed to inspire and immerse customers in Zoom’s solutions through the “Experience Center” (Executive Briefing Center), while the organization’s “Engagement Hub” (hybrid workplace) sets a new standard for today’s hybrid workspaces.
A next-generation Experience Center and Engagement Hub
The 18,000-square-foot London space is divided into two distinct areas: 1) a first-of-its-kind in the world “Experience Center” (EC) that offers an interactive and immersive brand experience for clients, and 2) the “Engagement Hub,” which provides a variety of focus, collaborative and community space types and layouts for over 200 employees, demonstrating Zoom’s commitment to flexible work.
Experience Center: Project highlights
- The flagship 18,000 sq. ft. Zoom office is a first-of-its-kind flagship facility designed to bring the Zoom brand to life for clients and employees alike.
- Lens Wall:The central feature is the 125-foot-long ambient fabric wall, that can be customized to offers visitors a branded experience.
- Near 360-Degree Discovery Showcase: This next-generation showcase supports a world-leading large-scale (20m total length) curved LED screen with multi-touch interactivity, providing a dynamic and engaging visual experience that can be customized for each guest during demonstrations and workshops.
- Boardroom of the Future:Equipped with a floor-to-ceiling seamless curved 8K LED screen and state-of-the-art audio systems, this boardroom exemplifies modern meeting technology powered by Zoom.
- The workspace includes a diverse range of space types and layouts, catering to both client and employee needs.
- Committed to sustainability, Zoom achieved LEED Gold Certification and installed a bespoke Unispace Art for Impact x Casa Congo sustainable tapestry made from 3,500 recycled ocean plastic bags.

Engagement Hub: Project Highlights
The Engagement Hub caters to various workstyles with community, hybrid collaboration, and focus zones. The floor is divided into three zones:
- Community zone: This is the most dynamic and adaptable area at the core of the floor. It incorporates various options for in-person collaboration and employee interaction, including a lounge, games corner, wellness room, and multi-function space for events, training, demonstrations, and seminars. It can be easily reconfigured to provide open collaboration spaces or casual-focus work areas.
- Hybrid collaboration zone: A selection of tech-enabled Zoom Rooms designed to enhance face-to-face and hybrid meetings. The community and hybrid collaboration zones are designed to facilitate and encourage social interactions.
- Focus zone: Located at the edge of the floor, this area offers a quiet space with options to minimize auditory and visual distractions. It includes an open workspace with desks, phone rooms, and booths for privacy and concentration.
