Rosen, Sapperstein & Friedlander (RS&F), LLC, a leading business advisory and CPA firm, recently hosted its annual Service Day. This year, RS&F team members partnered with the Y in Central Maryland to help with a variety of tasks across several locations in and around Baltimore.

Holabird Academy Community Garden Clean-Up
RS&F volunteers engaged in activities such as planting vegetables, dismantling chicken coops, cleaning and organizing storage closets, and weeding at Holabird Academy, a K-8 school in Baltimore City.

Head Start Summer Learning Packet Production
RS&F volunteers helped the Head Start Baltimore team produce summer learning packets for students to take home. Head Start provides early childhood and family development services for low-income children.

Catonsville Y Summer Camp Preparation
RS&F volunteers played a vital role in helping the Catonsville Y prepare for the upcoming summer camp season. Team members assisted with various activities like spreading mulch on campgrounds, sprucing up the meeting pavilion, organizing camp gear, and more.

“Not only is it a great feeling to give back to our community, but service days are also a great way to bond with our team,” said RS&F Partner Samantha Haines. “There was a lot of laughter, reminiscing about our own childhoods, and learning more about one another all while giving back to our community.”
