Astor Services, a leading provider of quality mental and behavioral health and education services for children, young adults and their families, hosted community screenings of Pixar’s “Inside Out 2”, followed by post-movie discussions on the importance of all emotions and healthy ways to balance them. The screenings took place at the AMC 13 Bay Plaza in the Bronx and the Roosevelt Theatre in Hyde Park. Theresa Venticinque, LCSW – Bronx Day Treatment assistant director, led the conversation in the Bronx and Kathy Mills, Psy.D. – director of crisis services, facilitated the discussion in the Hudson Valley.
The event was free of charge, thanks to the support of sponsors, who teamed with Astor to help make the day extra special for attendees. Catholic Charities of New York and Mike Mills – State Farm Insurance Agent served as popcorn sponsors, while Adams Fairacre Farms, Astor Services’ Board of Directors, Marjorie Cadogan, Rondout Savings Bank, Thomas, Drohan, Waxman, Petigrow & Mayle, LLP, and Williams Lumber Home Centers were candy sponsors.
