Meadow Partners Raises $530 Million

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Meadow Partners, an institutional middle-market real estate private equity investor, announced that the firm has raised $530 million of new capital commitments for its sixth flagship fund, Meadow Real Estate Fund VI LP and dedicated co-investment vehicles. The new capital was committed by a diverse base of new investors and longtime partners, including public pension plans and university endowments.

Fund VI, the sixth opportunistic vehicle in Meadow’s 15-year history, builds upon Meadow’s proven ability to source and execute investments in opportunistic residential, industrial, and retail real estate as well as preferred equity and distressed debt in New York City and London, and selectively in other major U.S. and U.K. markets. Meadow Partners takes a granular approach to targeting individual assets, owners, and lenders to source unique opportunities to invest capital in highly liquid markets. To date, Fund VI has committed $95 million of equity in 10 investments.

Jeffrey Kaplan, Founder and Managing Partner, said, “We are grateful for the positive response we received for our flagship strategy from a sophisticated group of new and existing investors. Their continued confidence reflects Meadow’s differentiated investment approach and experienced team with deep-rooted relationships. In a challenging market environment, Fund VI has already completed numerous investments across our target markets and we have a robust pipeline of compelling opportunities. We look forward to continuing to implement our time-tested investment strategy as we seek to generate attractive returns for our investors.”

Since its founding in 2009, Meadow has invested over $2.8 billion in equity through its opportunistic fund series.
