Inventive Raises $6.5M Seed Funding

Inventive, a San Francisco, CA-based startup building embedded AI for SaaS products, closed a $6.5m seed funding round.

The round was led by Wing VC, with participation from Tokyo Black and an angel investors group led by founders and former Google and Meta executives.

The company intends to use the funds to advance the platform for product teams.

Co-founded in 2022 by Erik Kuld, Kavita Shah, and Clarence Tso, Inventive provides an embedded AI Analyst agent that embeds easily in software products to help resolve ad-hoc customer requests for custom reports and analytics. The conversational AI-powered software system collaborates with non-technical users in natural language to help them explore, save, and operationalize custom insights from the host product’s customer-facing data.

It is already live in production with thousands of their partners’ customers.

Inventive’s underlying platform offers a suite of tools for efficiently configuring, testing, evaluating, monitoring, managing, customizing and monetizing these embedded AI-native experiences.
