New BTRproperty management company adds to its team
Prim Properties, a new BTR property management company, is pleased to add Ron Telfair and Ron Romano to its growing property management team! Led by Managing Partner Brett Forney, Prim Properties is redefining how BTR properties are managed, creating a strong sense of community and offering proactive maintenance that makes rentals genuinely feel like home for residents.
Ron Telfair joins the Prim Properties team as Leasing Director with over a decade of multi-family experience in communities across multiple states, including Florida, Georgia and Alabama. Before joining Prim Properties, he was an onsite property manager with one of the largest management companies in the United States. His experience extends to luxury lease-ups and build-to-rent homes. Telfair has overseen renovation projects for most product types, including garden, mid-rise, high-rise, and mixed-use. He also oversees community management, emphasizing marketing, staffing, training, customer satisfaction, stabilization and operational excellence.

Ron Romano is the new Director of Operations for Prim Properties. The expertise gained during a 25-year career in accounting and real estatehas enabled him to forge a successful career in property management. Most recently, Romano worked with Tiber Capital, one of the country’s largest aggregators of single-family rentals. During the company’s rapid growth, he built teams to operate over 8,700 single-family rental homes successfully and managed third-party property management performance. Romano used his calming demeanor in a bustling industry to lead teams to success with high occupancy and retention rates while maintaining low delinquency. Romano also held many roles in the multifamily industry with Pegasus Residential and was instrumental in growing the business from 2012 to 2021. A graduate of East Carolina University, Romano lives in Cumming, Ga., with his three children.
