Enclara Pharmacia Appoints Hannah Rues as Vice President

PHILADELPHIA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Enclara Pharmacia, the market leader in comprehensive pharmacy management services to the hospice community, announces the appointment of Hannah Rues as Vice President, Business Development. She will be an integral part of Enclara’s outreach to prospective clients, particularly around the benefits of technology in achieving clinical and financial goals.

Rues brings a strong background in patient-centric care and over 15 years of experience in sales and consulting around software for medical providers. She most recently served as General Manager, Client Alignment and Sales – Post Acute Business for Netsmart Technologies’ electronic health record solutions.

“Hannah’s deep understanding of healthcare innovation and the hospice and palliative care community makes her a perfect fit for Enclara Pharmacia’s growth strategy,” SVP, Business Development Deanna Douglass said. “She will play an important role in helping to cement Enclara’s reputation not only as a hospice pharmacy and PBM, but as a true partner in digital transformation.”

Prior to joining Netsmart, Rues founded a concierge private care coordination, transition planning and advocacy service specializing in serving long term care and chronically ill populations and their caregivers. She also spent five years in healthcare consulting, where she led initiatives around software, care coordination, home care provision and hospice management.

“My roots are in patient care and advocacy, and it’s important for me that my work reflect that,” Rues said. “I’m proud to join Enclara because it’s a mission-driven company that puts the patient at the center of everything it does. Its approach to technology is all about helping nurses devote more time and attention to patient care. That’s something I just really wanted to be a part of.”

Rues holds a B.S. in Social Work from Lindenwood University, where she also minored in human service management and earned a graduate certificate in gerontology. Outside of healthcare advocacy, her primary interests are family and sports, particularly rooting for the Chicago Cubs.
