The drinkware company has donated more than $200,000 to the Guy Harvey Foundation
Tervis, the nationally loved and family-owned drinkware company founded in 1946, recently announced it will be unveiling a 16-ounce tumbler set and a website takeover with Dr. Guy Harvey®, world-renowned marine wildlife artist and conservationist, in celebration of World Oceans Day on Saturday, June 8. Visitors to Tervis.com will enjoy seeing products inspired by the ocean and marine life, as well as a special video message from Guy Harvey himself.
For 22 years, Tervis has partnered with the Guy Harvey brand. In 2019, Tervis began donating $1 to the Guy Harvey Foundation (GHF) for every product sold from its Guy Harvey Collection to support its scientific research and educational programs aimed at conserving the marine environment. The GHF also develops and hosts cutting-edge educational programs that help educators to foster the next era of marine conservationists, ensuring that future generations can enjoy and benefit from a naturally balanced ocean ecosystem.
Since Tervis started the donation program in 2019, the drinkware company has donated more than $200,000 to the foundation.
“With the ocean covering more than 70 percent of our earth’s surface and being that we are a Florida-based company, it’s incredibly important to us that we help spread the word about the importance of conservation,” said Hosana Fieber, chief executive officer of Tervis. “We are so grateful to have such a great partnership with Guy Harvey, a world-renowned artist, scientist, diver, angler and conservationist, and we look forward to inspiring others to make an effort in conserving the marine environment.”
This year, Tervis unveiled its new four-pack Guy Harvey – Living Reef Collection. Each 16-ounce tumbler comes in a different color and features varying sea creatures, including stingrays, dolphins, manatees, and fish and turtles. Available at Tervis.com and GuyHarvey.com, the tumblers can be purchased individually or as a set.
“We are extremely proud of our longstanding partnership with Tervis and we look forward to the unveiling of new colorful designs every year,” said Dr. Guy Harvey. “Tervis drinkware is one of our best-selling items and fan-favorites, so we hope that it remains popular as we use this gorgeous new collection to honor World Oceans Day this year.”
Tervis will also offer consumers 20 percent off on all products from its Guy Harvey Collection, as well as the standard donation of $1 from every product sold from its Guy Harvey Collection to the Guy Harvey Foundation.
