Pioneer Realty Group Launches Home Buyers University

Attendees will Learn from Residential Brokers and Lender, and Enjoy a Saturday Brunch

Pioneer Realty Group is announcing Home Buyers University, the firm’s rebranded seminar series that helps first time homebuyers better understand and prepare for the exciting milestone event of purchasing a home (or condo). As part of the rebranding effort, Pioneer is also announcing a “class” and brunch on Saturday, June 8 at its office at 3039 N. Lincoln Avenue.

The Home Buyers University program will be led by Helen Bailey, one of the founders of Pioneer, and Savannah Whittington, the firm’s director of sales, two established residential brokers with a deep understanding of the neighborhoods and the overall process. Other members of the Pioneer team will also be in attendance. The program also will feature the perspectives and processes of Jim Pomposelli, a residential mortgage professional with Lakeside Bank.

“Our program really is about providing an education and understanding about the homebuying process and being able to answer commonly asked and/or specific questions about market dynamics,” said Bailey. “Our goal is to add a level of comfort as people embark on the process and eliminate any misconceptions that may exist.”

The event, will feature a social networking period, the program and brunch. Those who register for and attend the event will … any incentives??

Pioneer first launched its homebuyer education program in 2022. In 2024 the firm anticipates holding a minimum of four programs, on a quarterly basis.

“The Spring buying season is upon us and in full swing,” said Whittington. “Gaining a greater understanding of the process—the opportunities and the challenges—makes homebuyers better prepared to work through the many steps involved.”

Topics for the event include defining some of the most common terms in homebuying, gaining a better understanding of what homebuyers are looking for and what they may be able to afford, the myriad steps involved and the order of those steps, and the different homebuying experts and resources they’ll need.
