Serial successful finance leader joins Blue Delta Capital-backed NextGenSIGINT and EW company
Herrick Technology Laboratories, Inc. (HTL), a market leading provider of Software Defined Radio (SDR) and related SIGINT (signals intelligence) and EW (electronic warfare) solutions announced today that Ron Sayco has recently joined the company as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
“We are thrilled to have Ron join our team. He brings decades of proven finance leadership in Defense Technology at a critical inflection point in our growth, especially given the recent venture capital investment that HTL took from Blue Delta Capital,” said Acie Vickers, CEO and co-founder of HTL. He added, “Ron’s track record in helping companies scale, successfully create shareholder value, through organic growth as well as strategic tuck-in acquisitions, is a welcome addition to our senior management team.”
Prior to joining HTL, Mr. Sayco was the CFO of Merlin Cyber, a provider of cybersecurity solutions to the Federal Government. Before Merlin, Ron was the CFO of Ovzon, a managed satellite services company that was initially focused on the Special Operations (SOCOM) community. Ron has held senior Strategy & Corporate Development roles for Thales Communications (the tactical SDR business of Thales Group) and BAE Systems. Mr. Sayco has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from UVA’s McIntire School of Commerce. He is a CFA Charter holder and passed the CPA exam.
Ron Sayco said, “I am delighted to join Acie and the HTL team. He is a legend in the industry, having successfully built and sold DRT and I think what he is doing at HTL is equally extraordinary in its potential. The company’s distinctive products are vital to both Defense and Intelligence Community customers, and I look forward to helping HTL scale to new heights.”
