MorseLife Hospice and Palliative Care Names Dominique McDonald Business Development Director

MorseLife Hospice and Palliative Care has named Lake Worth Beach resident Dominique McDonald as business development director.

In her role, McDonald will foster relations that leverage both internal and external resources to promote and maintain the best interests and mission of hospice with healthcare organizations, professionals and community groups.

McDonald comes to MorseLife with nearly 25 years of healthcare experience with a focus on seniors, including 16 years dedicated to hospice. Most recently, she served as Director of Concierge with Liberty HealthCare.

Active in the community, McDonald is a board member of the American Association of Caregiving Youth and previously served on the Board of the YWCA. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Barry University and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

Recognized by the Florida legislature as the State’s only teaching hospice, MorseLife Hospice and Palliative Care contributes to the creation of best practices for end-of-life care with services that can begin months before a patient passes away.

It is typical to contact hospice when a physician determines that an individual has a life prognosis of six months or less. MorseLife impacts the end-of-life journey in meaningful, positive ways with pain and symptom management, medication, specialized equipment, psychology and spiritual support for patient and family, grief support and ongoing bereavement and counseling.

MorseLife Hospice and Palliative Care provides services at the patient’s home, in a hospital, skilled nursing or assisted living venues.
