The International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) has announced that Christopher Seusing, managing partner of the Westport, Connecticut, and Boston, Massachusetts, offices of Wood Smith Henning & Berman LLP (WSHB), has accepted an invitation to join the IADC, the preeminent invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.
Leader of WSHB’s national Cybersecurity & Data Privacy team, Mr. Seusing has more than 15 years of collective experience in cyber, professional and management liability areas. He represents companies and professionals in complex litigation matters and class actions around the country. In addition, he counsels clients on responding to data breach incidents and regulatory inquiries and investigations.
Mr. Seusing also currently serves as co-provost of the claimsXchange Cyber Claims Academy and regularly speaks at national conferences on cybersecurity, data privacy, and cyber insurance trends and emerging issues.
Mr. Seusing earned his J.D. (cum laude) from Suffolk University Law School, where he also is an adjunct professor, teaching cybersecurity and data privacy. He received his Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) from Stonehill College.
