MountainOne Underwrites FREE Community Day at MASS MoCA to Kick Off Museum’s 25th Anniversary Celebration

MountainOne, a full-service financial institution headquartered in North Adams, is thrilled to partner with Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) as they kick off their 25th anniversary celebrations this weekend by sponsoring/underwriting its FREE Community Day on Saturday, May 25.

The FREE Community Day at the museum includes free admission, live performances, and family activities, including Family Storytime at 10:30 a.m. where MountainOne’s new children’s book, “How to Climb a Mountain” will be read aloud. This book is the first in a series of books for children featuring Mo, the MountainOne Spokesgoat. The 24-page vividly illustrated book seeks to promote positive life lessons, literacy, and financial education. Children who attend the story time will be gifted a free copy of the book, and all event guests are encouraged to stop by the MountainOne tent located in Courtyard A for other fun giveaways!

Additional events taking place throughout the day include gallery tours, tenant celebrations, audiowalks, art making, immersive multimedia experiences, open studios, a member reception, live music, and a moderated conversation with MASS MoCA’s Director Kristy Edmunds and Founding Director Joseph Thompson

“MASS MoCA is a community treasure, and we are proud of our partnership with them,” said Robert Fraser, president and chief executive officer of MountainOne. “We look forward to celebrating their 25th anniversary with them throughout the year.”
