With the U.S. Open Cup and MLS season in full swing, and the most expensive MLS teams worth over a billion dollars, the personal-finance website WalletHub today released its report on the Best Cities for Soccer Fans in 2024, as well as expert commentary, to identify the top places to enjoy the world’s favorite sport.
WalletHub compared 300 U.S. cities with at least one college or professional soccer team across 52 key metrics. The data set ranges from the minimum season-ticket price to stadium accessibility to performance on the pitch.

- Houston has the lowest minimum season-ticket price for an MLS game which is 4.8 times less expensive than in Miami, Florida, the city with the highest.
- Orlando, Florida, has the lowest minimum season-ticket price for an NWSL game which is 2.1 times less expensive than in Los Angeles, California, the city with the highest.
- Tulsa, Oklahoma, has the lowest minimum season-ticket price for a USL game which is 2.2 times less expensive than in Oakland, California, the city with the highest.
