GFP Real Estate Signs Three Leases Totaling 8,409 SF at 505 Eighth Ave.

GFP Real Estate, LLC is pleased to announce that it has signed three leases totaling 8,409 square feet at 505 Eighth Ave. in Midtown.

In the first transaction, Mesmerize Media, an advertising company with offices in New York City and Oakland, CA, extended its lease for 5,009 square feet of office space on the 10th floor.  Mesmerize Media specializes in out-of-home advertising, delivering brands directly to consumers, doctors offices, community-based organizations, pharmacies, convenience stores, cafes, bars, restaurants, hotels, financial service centers and more.

Allen Gurevich of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord and the tenant in the direct lease transaction.  The company first moved into the building in 2016.

In the second transaction, Shankar Ninan & Co., LLP, a law firm specializing in immigration, business, employment counseling and other litigation matters, signed a new five-year lease for 2,000 square feet of office space on the 18th floor.  The firm, which is expected to move in shortly, will relocate from 875 Sixth Ave.; the space was previously occupied by Morse & Company, LLP.

In the third transaction, Indego Africa Project, a nonprofit “dedicated to empowering artisan women in Africa through employment opportunities and education,” signed a new four-year lease for 1,400 square feet of office space on the 10th floor.  The nonprofit will use the space for its general and executive offices.  The space was previously occupied by S.S. Sampliner & Co.
