TA PLLC Partner Karl Klein Appointed Chair of Florida Bar AI Best Practices Subcommittee

In his role as a member of The Florida Bar’s Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence Tools & Resources, TA PLLC partner Karl Klein has been named chair of its new AI Best Practices Subcommittee. This group is tasked with providing resources to lawyers across the state in navigating the constantly evolving world of artificial intelligence and its use in the legal industry.

“AI is a game changer for our industry, but there are considerations about its use that all lawyers need to be aware of,” Klein noted. “I’m excited to join my colleagues who share my passion and interest in discussing AI to develop best practices to help others. Our goal is to have this resource prepared in time for the Bar’s Annual Convention in June.”

Klein was elected to serve on the 11th Circuit on The Florida Bar’s Board of Governors in 2023. The Board of Governors is the highest governing body of The Florida Bar, responsible for attorney discipline, Bar rules and operations. As a member of the Board of Governors, Klein is assigned to several committees, including the Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence Tools & Resources, the Technology Committee, and the Disciplinary Review Committee (DRC). Additionally, he serves as a liaison to the Mental Health & Wellness Committee, which he has been a member of since 2019.

At TA PLLC, Klein focuses on domestic and international Corporate and Real Estate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, entity formation, and general corporate matters. In addition to his work at the firm, Klein serves as a pro bono advisor to local, early-stage companies in the technology, wellness, and culinary sectors.
