GitKraken, a Scottsdale, AZ-based company which specializes in developer tooling, today announced it has acquired CodeSee, a San Francisco, California-based code health innovator.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
By adding CodeSee’s capabilities in code health and AI-powered code understanding, GitKraken will enable engineering teams to understand complex parts of their code base.
Led by CEO Shanea Leven, CodeSee gives a team full application visibility at every layer so the team can ship, refactor and onboard to legacy or existing applications faster.
Led by CEO Matt Johnston, GitKraken is a developer experience (DevEx) platform that serves developers wherever they are and wherever they code, across the desktop, command line, IDE, web and mobile – and supports GitHub, GitLab, Atlassian Bitbucket or Azure DevOps.
