Rosen, Sapperstein & Friedlander (RS&F), LLC, a leading business advisory and CPA firm, today announced the promotion of Susie Warsal, CPA, Matthew Stangroom, CPA, and Samantha Haines, CPA to Partner.
Susie Warsal has 16 years of public accounting experience in tax consulting, planning and compliance. Susie spent the first decade of her career with RSM before joining RS&F. Her expertise covers a range of industries, from manufacturing and real estate to private equity and alternative investment funds. She specializes in partnership tax planning and compliance for mid-sized to large companies, primarily serving and growing her client base of family offices for high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals. In addition to being a tax advisor to her clients, she is the leader of the tax practice at RS&F.
In her role, Susie oversees every aspect of the department, from talent acquisition and retention to engagement management, client relations and more. She is also responsible for evaluating and implementing strategies, such as adopting new software solutions and refining team policies and procedures, to continually improve the practice.
Matthew Stangroom has over 15 years of public accounting experience, including audits of clients within a variety of industries. His industry expertise ranges from commercial and residential real estate to construction, manufacturing, distribution, biosciences, and nonprofits. Matthew manages client relations, engagement teams, professional development, technical audit, accounting issue resolution, and more. He also evaluates and develops strategies for the improvement of the firm’s policies, procedures, and operational controls.
Samantha (Sam) Haines has over 13 years of tax compliance and consulting experience in public accounting. Her experience encompasses a variety of industries including rental real estate, construction, land development, manufacturing, IT security and retail, with a specialization in real estate and family offices. Her clients range from mid-sized companies to large multi-state operations that are continuously expanding. Each year Sam leads a team for Autism Speaks’ annual fundraiser and volunteers as a mentor to female business students with Towson University’s MentHER program. Just last year, she received the Women to Watch award in the Emerging Leader category from MACPA. She was also recently named to the Daily Record’s Leading Women under 40.
