Govini Appoints Sam Jones as Chief Product Officer

​ARLINGTON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Govini announced today that Sam Jones has been appointed Chief Product Officer. Jones joins Govini having spent his career bringing innovation and results to the Department of Defense, including holding senior product and engineering positions at Palantir Technologies and Shield AI. The hire underscores Govini’s commitment to advancing U.S. competitiveness through dynamic data and machine learning.

Prior to joining the private sector, he worked as a civilian engineer in the US Air Force. Mr. Jones holds a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University.

In 2019 the Pentagon awarded Govini a $400 million indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, single award, five-year contract for data and analytics.
