HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern — Atlanta’s popular gathering spot with locations in Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Atlantic Station, Halcyon, and Vinings — opens its much-anticipated Peachtree City location at The Avenue Peachtree City, an outdoor pedestrian-friendly development just 40 miles south of downtown Atlanta, in late May.
Known for its excellent tavern fare, bourbon bar, award-winning burgers, and prime sports viewing, the new HOBNOB features a covered all-weather patio, an open-air patio, and private dining for 45, perfect for meetings and parties.
“Peachtree City is a big draw with its community-oriented spirit, charming tree-lined paths, and walkable design,” says Sean Yeremyan, co-founder and owner of Big Table Restaurants (which includes Cattle Shed Wine & Steak Bar). “When the opportunity arose in this new phase of The Avenue Peachtree City’s outdoor, pedestrian-friendly development, I knew it was the ideal spot for HOBNOB. Despite being just 40 miles south of downtown Atlanta, Peachtree City maintains the quaintness of a small town. We’re excited to bring the vibe of a local, friendly tavern where guests feel at home, gathering frequently with good friends.”
This is Big Table Restaurants’ sixth metro Atlanta HOBNOB location. Like the other HOBNOB restaurants, the Peachtree City location offers refined local fare in a friendly neighborhood setting. HOBNOB is known for its great burgers, weekend brunch, extensive bourbon list, and commitment to each community it is located in. The new tavern is a welcoming destination for guests to watch their favorite sports on numerous TVs, play one of the many board games, and enjoy weekly specials like Burger and Beer Monday, Tuesday Trivia, Whiskey Wednesday, Thursday Ladies Night Out with Music Bingo, Saturday and Sunday brunch (with mimosa carafes for $17.95), and live entertainment on weekends.
The menu is broad and features the same favorites HOBNOB is known for, including shrimp and grits made with spicy andouille sausage, roasted tomato, chipotle crema, scallions, and cheese grits; mac and cheese with a three-cheese blend; and the classic fish and chips with beer-battered haddock, served with tartar sauce and coleslaw.
The Peachtree City location also features new dishes such as:
- Classic and roasted red pepper hummus, za’atar seasoning and grilled lemon ($11.95)
- Classic Cobb “HOBCOB” salad ($17.95)
- Southwest chorizo burger ($16.95)
The bourbon bar boasts about 150 bourbons and whiskeys, and the Peachtree City location also has the Bourbon Club, a monthly tasting club of small-batch bourbons with education and complimentary appetizers for $39. Over 10 beers on tap featuring local and national craft beers, 22 wines by the glass, an extensive cellar, and spirit-free mocktails round out the full-service bar.
HOBNOB Peachtree City also offers NFL Sunday Ticket and will feature the big games on several screens during football season. To fuel game-day excitement, fans can always count on HOBNOB’s classic wings being on the starter list, along with warm, soft pretzels and beer cheese dip.
The weekend brunch menu highlights include chicken and waffles, steak and eggs, bloody marys, and various mimosas with different fruit juices.
HOBNOB Peachtree City, located at 239 City Circle at The Avenue Peachtree City, is open for lunch and dinner, weekend brunch, late-night bar, and live music on weekends. Kitchen hours are Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m.; Friday, 11:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Check HOBNOB’s website for this location’s special events.
