The new company, named G9EV, is set to commence operations this week, utilizing the existing Gyre9 facilities.
According to Ed Gilchrest, President of Gyre9, “G9EV is the brainchild of myself and Frank von Holzhausen, both seasoned professionals with over ten years of combined experience in developing and manufacturing Level 2 charging stations (EVSEs). Over the years, we’ve amassed extensive expertise in design, engineering, and production with thousands of units already in service nationwide.
Gilchrest continues, “After contributing to various companies in this sector, we’ve recognized the opportunity to create our own line of products and introduce them to the market. Essentially, we took all of the best practices in the EV Charging Industry to launch our own product here in Connecticut. Our primary focus lies in crafting durable, dependable solutions that are straightforward to install and maintain – a characteristic often lacking among competitors.”
