Thintronics, a Berkeley, CA-based electronic materials startup, raised $23M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Maverick Capital and Translink Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to support commercialization of a novel insulator platform.
Led by CEO Stefan Pastine, and CTO Tristan El Bouayadi, Thintronics supplies high-performance insulators for emerging AI datacenter, networking, and RF/millimeter-wave (mmW) applications. Its novel materials enable wider bandwidths, increased power efficiency, and highly integrated form factors for advanced computing and communication systems.
