Gordon Feinblatt is excited to announce that Michele Bresnick Walsh has been elected as the Chair and CEO of Gordon Feinblatt, effective upon the completion of Barry F. Rosen’s term as Chairman and CEO on July 31, 2024. Michele holds the distinction of being the first woman to occupy this role in the firm’s 71-year history.
“For more than thirty years, I have come to know and to work with hundreds of our clients. I have also had the pleasure to work with many incredibly talented lawyers at Gordon Feinblatt, many of whom are still colleagues to this day. As my tenure in this particular role will come to a close soon, we have been preparing for a smooth and successful transition. I am excited to support Michele and look forward to Gordon Feinblatt’s future success,” said Barry F. Rosen.
Michele Bresnick Walsh began as an Associate at Gordon Feinblatt in 1997, as a business and securities lawyer. Over time, she has become an integral member of many of the firm’s practice groups, including forming the EMERGE practice group for emerging businesses. She currently chairs the firm’s Business and Securities practice proups, serves on the firm’s Executive Committee, and chairs the firm’s Finance Committee and Talent Acquisition Committee.
Michele is also a tireless advocate in the community where she is involved in the leadership of many philanthropic organizations, including There Goes My Hero Foundation, Lawyers’ Campaign Against Hunger, Executive Alliance and many others. In her own words, Michele relates to those looking to “seize the day,” and has done just that in her professional and personal life.
In 1989 at the age of 39, Barry F. Rosen was elected Chairman and CEO of Gordon Feinblatt, initiating the transition of leadership to the firm’s second generation. Barry will remain Chair of the firm’s Health Care practice and will continue to provide legal counsel in the health care, business and antitrust areas.
