Honoring Generosity And Commitment: LOJE Ultimate Thank You Event

On April 3, 2024, the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County celebrated its Forever Lions at the annual Lion of Judah Endowment (LOJE) Ultimate Thank You (LUTY) event, held at Keshet Gallery in Boca Raton. This sold-out luncheon, co-chaired by Shoshanna Leon and Judi Schuman, honored and recognized the extraordinary commitments made by the LOJE women, who have made a planned gift or endowment of at least $100,000 or 20 times their current Lion of Judah level gift.

Guest speaker Rachie Shnay, is a renowned jewelry designer with a massive following of A-list celebrities. With her vibrant jewelry on display, guests were able to appreciate and purchase pieces from her Mazel collection, which is adored by thousands of women all over the world. As a grandchild of four Holocaust survivors, Shnay is passionate about Holocaust education and the state of Israel. At the LUTY event, Rachie detailed her journey and how she uses her platform to create a network of women who are proud to embrace their Jewish identity.

“The LOJE Ultimate Thank You event shines a light on the extraordinary dedication of our Forever Lions, celebrating their generosity and enduring commitment. These remarkable women, through their planned gifts or endowments, are not only securing the future of our Jewish community but also embodying the timeless values of tzedakah and continuity,” said Randee Rubenstein, Chair of Planned Giving & Endowments at the Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation. “Their legacy is inspiring for many generations to come. As we gathered to express our deepest gratitude, we honor not just their contributions, but the indelible mark they leave on the tapestry of Jewish life.”

The LOJE Ultimate Thank You event honored and recognized the eternal commitments made by the women of our Jewish community. With 350 endowed Lions, the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County boasts the largest group of LOJEs in North America.
