Heroes in Health Care Honors Heroes of Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center

Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center will hold Heroes in Health Care, an event celebrating the hospital’s unsung medical and philanthropy heroes. The fundraiser will benefit the hospital and take place Thursday, May 2, at 6 p.m., at the Kossiakoff Center at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel.

“This is the first time Heroes in Health Care has recognized our philanthropists who have played such an integral role in our ability to offer world-class health care in Howard County,” said Dr. Shafeeq Ahmed, president of Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center. “We are also pleased to have this opportunity to share the story of lifesaving care provided to a member of our community and honor our heroic staff.”

Musical entertainment will be provided by the Bachelor Boys Band.
