Hamburg, Rubin Elects John McCaul and Danielle Yacono to Partnership

Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin is pleased to announce that John F. McCaul and Danielle M. Yacono have been elected to partnership in the firm.

Both lawyers divide their time between the firm’s Montgomery County and Philadelphia offices.

John F. McCaul, an experienced criminal defense and personal injury attorney, began his career as a prosecutor in the Chester County District Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted thousands of felony and misdemeanor cases, including some of its most complicated cases. In addition to his courtroom experience, John led long-term investigations into both white-collar theft and violent crimes. He also supervised the Investigating and Indicting Grand Juries and was eventually cross-designated as a Special Assistant United States Attorney (SAUSA) with the United States Attorney’s Office. John now uses all this inside knowledge and experience as a former prosecutor to fight for his clients. He zealously defends the rights of those who have been accused of serious criminal offenses, including Murder, Robbery, Burglary, Domestic Abuse, White Collar Theft, Gun Charges, Drug Charges, and DUI. John also represents individuals who have suffered medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, are victims of crime, sexual assault and institutional abuse, motor vehicle accidents and premises liability. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Montgomery Anti-Hunger Network (“MAHN”).A graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law (J.D., 2015), John is a proud graduate of Penn State University (B.A., 2011), and is an avid Nittany Lions football fan.

Danielle M.Yacono counsels clients on all aspects of estate planning and trust administration including harnessing and valuing their assets, reducing tax consequences, and when necessary, dealing with litigation in Orphans’ Court. She is also involved in drafting revocable and irrevocable, special needs, irrevocable life insurance and grantor and dynasty trusts. Danielle is extremely focused on reducing tax repercussions to her clients and preserving wealth in consideration of all applicable federal and state, income, gift, and death tax exemptions. When necessary, she employs her years of trial expertise to try to secure her clients’ desired outcomes in Orphans’ Court and other Pennsylvania Courts.Prior to going into private practice, Danielle was an Assistant Public Defender in the Defender Association of Philadelphia assigned to a Major Cases courtroom for felonies and misdemeanors where she gained significant trial experience. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Danielle is a member of the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and Montgomery Bar Associations. A graduate of Villanova University, Danielle received her law degree from the University of New Hampshire in 2011. She is a resident of South Philadelphia.
