Seys also has recently acquired two other creative firms – Denver-based BigfootWeb, and South Florida’s iluma agency which specializes in franchise marketing — to expand and reinforce Peak Seven’s design, brand development and digital capabilities for nationwide client base. He plans two more acquisitions in the next 24 months to further fuel Peak Seven’s growth.
Founded in 1999, Peak Seven has launched more than 500 brands, earned more than 450 creative and digital awards and has managed more than $50,000,000 in media purchases for clients in the real estate, boating and many other industries.
Seys is an active member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization South Florida (EO SOFLO) and credits the group for helping Peak Seven blast ahead with growth. He joined the chapter in 2009, has served on the board leading various committees for 12 consecutive years, and has taken a leadership role in various EO Global initiatives.
EO SOFLO is one of the world’s largest EO chapters, with 300 business owners throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. EO SOFLO member companies account for more than $3 billion in yearly revenues and 11,000 jobs in the tri-county area.
Seys appreciates the support, advice and ability to share peer-to-peer experiences with like-minded entrepreneurs in EO to strengthen his business. For example, after considering conversations with his EO Forum, he held off on an acquisition for about a year, which saved his company about $500,000 when the deal was finally completed.
“EO is a fantastic organization with so many rock star leaders and innovators who not only help each other, but who foster entrepreneurship and economic development for our entire region,” says Seys.
“Darren has contributed an enormous amount of time and talent to our chapter,” said Lil Roberts, current president of EO SOFLO and founder of Xendoo online bookkeeping and accounting platform. “With his level of drive and vision, it’s no surprise that Peak Seven and all his businesses are reaching greater heights.”
