Rock with the Energy and Excitement of the Legendary Pablo Cruise

Pablo Cruise takes the stage in April at the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center

For Pablo Cruise, “Pablo” represents an honest, real, down to earth individual, and “Cruise” depicts his fun loving, easy going attitude towards life – in essence that’s what Pablo Cruise music is all about. The legendary band will perform at the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center on the campus of Nova Southeastern University at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 20.

Pablo Cruise brings to the stage fun yet elegant, infectious grooves. To hear Pablo Cruise on a recording is one thing, but to experience the band live is an exhilarating event.

In 1975 Pablo Cruise released its first self-titled album. For the next decade the band toured the U.S., United States, Canada and Japan extensively. The band reached the Top 10 with mega hits,  “Whatcha Gonna Do When She Says Goodbye?” and “Love Will Find A Way” and went on to sell millions of albums and singles collectively, establishing themselves as well respected writers and performers within the industry. They appeared on numerous TV shows, including Dick Clark’s American BandstandThe Merv Griffin Show and The Dinah Shore Hour.

In 1979 they broke Elvis Presley’s attendance record at the Sahara Tahoe in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada, becoming the first rock band to play a casino showroom. They also became the first rock band to grace the stage at the Grand Ole Opry, but by 1985 after completing several national tours and releasing seven studio albums, the band decided to take a hiatus, one that lasted nearly 20 years. They reunited in 2005 and have since released two live CDs and a DVD all through Sony Music documenting their exceptional live shows.
