Continental Realty Corporation (CRC) has earned the national 2024 “Top Workplaces USA Award,” based on confidential feedback generated from a team member survey administered by Energage, LLC, a Philadelphia-based research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. The award, sponsored by USA Today, represents the fourth consecutive year in which the Baltimore-based commercial real estate and investment company – which is active in 11 states across the country – has been recognized with a national honor for workplace excellence.

Energage administered a survey that gathered responses to an employee questionnaire that measured workplace issues including alignment, coaching, connection, engagement, leadership, performance, benefits, and training, with 170 CRC team members responding. Thousands of organizations across the country participated, but only 1,500 winners in the small, midsize, and large categories earned the Top Workplaces designation from Energage.

A key CRC mission is to organize, execute and evaluate tangible programming that emphasizes an open and engaging work culture, fosters engagement that makes a meaningful and long-lasting difference in the communities where the company operates, promotes team member wellbeing and health, and encourages team member empowerment. The company consistently encourages diversity and inclusion in its workplace and supports local philanthropic activities that benefit wide-ranging demographic audiences.

“Awards based on the unfiltered responses of our team members are especially meaningful because they validate their feeling of self-worth within our organization and the feedback provides us with meaningful information we can use to enhance the work experience at CRC,” stated Crystal Frey, CRC’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Shared Services.

“We receive consistent feedback that our team members believe the company is innovative, has strong leadership, and maintains core values that empower employees and make them feel appreciated. CRC team members consistently feel well-informed about important decisions being made and also that the company encourages people to state their views without reprisal. The company has made notable changes to its benefits, engagement, and communication plans throughout the years based on the feedback we receive from survey results.  In turn, this helps us maintain passionate, loyal, and hard-working professionals who are making a meaningful difference in all phases of our business. This information also assists with our on-going recruitment efforts for new talent.”
