Halifax Hoboken Unveils Irresistible Spring Menu

Halifax Hoboken proudly announces the launch of its captivating Spring Menu. Featuring a harmonious blend of seasonal ingredients and artisanal craftsmanship, each dish – from beginnings to mains to desserts — is crafted to tantalize the taste buds and ignite a culinary adventure. The menu showcases a symphony of flavors and textures, finished with delectable new Spring desserts that elevate dining to new heights.

“We’ve meticulously curated each offering to evoke the essence of springtime,” says Chef Seadon Shouse.  “At Halifax Hoboken, we believe that every meal should culminate in a moment of pure delight.” Spring menu additions will be served as of March 23, 2024, and are listed below.

To Start: “Dressed” Oysters – 6 local oysters, cucumber mignonette, melon foam, trout caviar. Maine Mussels – Orange, grilled endive, tarragon, Fresno peppers, crème fraiche, grilled breadSpring Vegetable Salad – Grilled broccoli, summer squash, mint crème fraiche, frisee, asparagus, pistachios.

Mains:

NJ Sea Scallops – Succulent sea scallops delicately seared and served atop a bed of fluffy couscous, accompanied by tender baby carrots and crisp snap peas. Drizzled with a tantalizing burnt orange vinaigrette that adds a zesty yet sweet note to every bite.

Dry Aged Duck for ‘2’ – A culinary masterpiece featuring tender slices of dry-aged duck with duck confit, complemented by a velvety smoked eggplant puree and earthy oyster mushrooms. Accented with vibrant peas, tender potato, and tangy pickled garlic, all harmonized by a rich and nuanced duck jus, creating a truly unforgettable dining experience.

Prime New York Strip – Indulge in the exquisite tenderness of a perfectly grilled Prime New York Strip, accompanied by tender white asparagus and sweet BBQ-glazed carrots. Served with creamy aligot potatoes and drizzled with a rich demi-glace, elevating each bite with savory flavor.

Spring Grains – A vibrant celebration of the season’s bounty, featuring a medley of hearty farro, nutty barley, and aromatic wild rice, tossed with fresh greens and crisp snap peas. Topped with a generous sprinkle of savory parmesan and finished with a delightful seaweed crumble.

Lemon Blueberry Torte – Indulge in layers of heavenly lemon cake, adorned with luscious blueberry mousse and drizzled with a citrus glaze. Finished with a delicate lavender coulis, whipped cream, and candied fruit, this masterpiece is a celebration of springtime flavors.

Carrot Cake Cheesecake – Experience the perfect marriage of creamy vanilla cheesecake and moist carrot cake, complemented by decadent caramel sauce and a dollop of whipped cream. Topped with spiced lace cookies and candied walnuts, this dessert is true indulgence.

Triple Chocolate Mousse (Gluten-Free) – Savor the richness of milk chocolate mousse paired with flourless chocolate cake, enveloped in a velvety smoked chocolate ganache. Crowned with whipped cream and a scoop of vanilla gelato, this gluten-free delight is a chocolate lover’s dream.
