PulteGroup, one of the nation’s largest home builders, has acquired 30.7 acres in Davie to develop 60 single-family residences. The homes will feature contemporary farmhouse-style designs and many of them will have a beautiful view of the lakes.
The new community, called Marigold, will be constructed on the site of a former ornamental plant nursery. The land sits on the east side of South Pine Island Road between Griffin and Stirling roads.
The property’s central location in Broward County will give homeowners quick access to Florida’s Turnpike, all interstate highways and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Commuters will enjoy shorter, easier drives to and from Fort Lauderdale and Broward’s other major cities and families will find A-rated public schools and private academies nearby.

The gated community will have a park and gazebo, with more amenities, and home designs, to be announced soon. Prices at Marigold are expected to begin over $1 million.
