Attendees will Learn from Residential Brokers and Lender, and Qualify for a $500 Credit on Closing Costs
Pioneer Realty Group will host a Spring Homebuyers Seminar on at 6:30 pm on Thursday, March 21. The program, featuring Helen Bailey, one of the founders of Pioneer, and Savannah Whittington, the firm’s director of sales, will help first time homebuyers, as well as those who would like a current overview of the process, plan and navigate one of life’s most exciting and potentially stressful milestone events.
The event, which will feature a network and social period with lite bites/refreshments will be held at Pioneer’s office at 3039 N. Lincoln Avenue.
“Our program really is all about providing an education and understanding about the homebuying process and being able to answer commonly asked and/or specific questions about market dynamics,” said Bailey. “Our goal is to provide comfort with the process and to eliminate any misconceptions that may exist.”
Those who register for and attend the event will be given a $500 credit on real estate closing costs for acquisitions represented by Pioneer Realty Group.
In addition to an overview of the process, the program also will feature the perspectives and processes of Jim Pomposelli, a residential mortgage professional with Lakeside Bank.
Pioneer first launched its homebuyer education program in 2022. In 2024 the firm anticipates holding a minimum of four programs, on a quarterly basis.
“With the unseasonable weather we’ve been experiencing in Chicago, the Spring buying season is upon us,” said Whittington. “Gaining a greater understanding of the process—the opportunities and the challenges—makes homebuyers better prepared to work through the many steps involved.”
Topics for the event include defining some of the most common terms in homebuying, gaining a better understanding of what homebuyers are looking for and what they may be able to afford, the myriad steps involved and the order of those steps, and the different homebuying experts and resources they’ll need.
