Transwestern Promotes Multidisciplinary Transaction Sciences Group Members

Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announces the promotions of Thomas Savage and Cody Lolakis to Managing Director and Marcus Billie to Senior Associate within the firm’s Transaction Sciences Group. Led by Executive Senior Managing Director Clark Dean, the Transaction SciencesGroup is composed of multidisciplinary consulting and brokerage experts who wrap real estate, finance, and consulting in science to spark innovation and help leaders structure better solutions.

Since joining Transwestern in 2013, Savage has been integral to the Transaction Sciences Group’s strategic advisory and national transaction capability, negotiating lease and purchase transactions totaling nearly $1 billion in gross value across the country. He has served on Transwestern’s Board of Directors and currently co-leads national and regional initiatives for the Transwestern Young Professionals (TYP) group.

From business consulting and portfolio strategy to financial structuring, Lolakishas developed a reputation for integrating sophisticated business modeling with transactional analytics to drive value for publicly traded companies, private equity backed businesses, and non-profit organizations. Since joining the Transaction Sciences Group in 2018, his capabilities in stochastic modeling and complex financial analyses have enabled clients to make confident, risk-adjusted business and real estate decisions.

Billie joined Transwestern in 2021 as Transaction Manager for one of the Transaction Sciences Group’s key national accounts, with a portfolio of over 275 locations. He has since expanded his role to serve the strategic and transactional needs of a wide array of clients, and in 2023, he received Transwestern’s National Newcomer’s Award. Billie is also a rising Atlanta civic leader, serving as board chair forQuest Communities and a member ofEmerging 100 of Atlanta, a young professional auxiliary of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc.

Beyond multi-market national account work for companies like BlueLinx and Randstad USA, the Transaction Science’s group’s notable recent accomplishments include transactions for Overtime Elite, TVS Architecture and Interior Design, NexGen Biobanking, Wellstar Health System,OpenHand Atlanta, and EAE USA, a Turkish-based manufacturer that established its North American headquarters and beach-head distribution hub in Atlanta last year.
