Midpoint Launches Innovative Active Shooter Prevention Program and Hosts Seminar to Share Technologies and Solutions

MidPoint Technology Group, a technical services company, announced the launch of its Active Shooter Prevention Program back in the fall of 2023. With the alarming increase of active shooter incidents in the past decade, MidPoint recognizes the importance of equipping individuals and organizations with the knowledge and tools necessary to identify, mitigate, and respond to potential threats effectively.

MidPoint has partnered with the Nation’s Leading Active Shooter expert, Chris Grollnek and the Active Shooter Prevention Project, (ASPP) LLC to implement practices to help organizations prepare for and respond to active shooter threats. MidPoint and ASPP provide high-level, personalized and comprehensive assessments, multi-layered detection and deterrence technology/solutions, and training programs. Some of these technologies and solutions include gunshot and gun threat detection, ballistic technologies, advanced analytics, detection systems, comprehensive security assessments, pre-incident prevention strategies, and more.

In an effort to share MidPoint’s Active Shooter Prevention Program, MidPoint will be holding an all-day seminar at their corporate headquarters in Columbia, MD on Thursday, March 14th. The seminar will feature Chris Grollneck as a guest speaker, along with breakout sessions where different vendors will provide an in-depth look at their various active shooter prevention technologies. The seminar aims to empower attendees with the knowledge and resources necessary to identify warning signs, mitigate risks, and respond effectively in emergency situations. This event is an important opportunity for organizations and individuals to enhance their preparedness and response capabilities in the face of potential active shooter incidents.

“We are excited to host our Active Shooter Prevention Seminar, which shows our commitment to empowering individuals and organizations with the tools and knowledge they need to mitigate the risk of active shooter incidents,” said Alexis Kingsbury, Marketing Director at MidPoint. “By fostering collaboration, awareness, and preparedness, we believe we can make meaningful strides towards creating safer, more resilient communities.”
