High Street Announces Five Retailers Coming to Atlanta Perimeter

High Street, the cosmopolitan mixed-use district coming to the heart of Atlanta’s Perimeter, today introduces five more brands to its growing retail and restaurant mix: Jaguar Bolera, Nando’s Peri-Peri, Velvet Taco, Allen Edmonds, and Skin Spirit. These concepts will join the project’s previously announced retail, dining and entertainment tenants, including Puttshack, The Hampton Social, Agave Bandido, Cuddlefish, Ben & Jerry’s, and Sugar Coat. With these tenants, High Street has secured over 80,000 square feet of the first phase’s 150,000-square-foot retail environment, with additional new retailers and restaurants in the works.

Thoughtfully designed around an internal street grid spanning 10 highly walkable city blocks, High Street will be a true urban town center, offering a variety of uses composed around multiple plazas, distinctive water features, engaging restaurant and retail offerings, and lush, tree-lined pedestrian-friendly streets. The first phase of High Street will feature an exceptional collection of retail shops, destination dining and best-in-class entertainment, centered around an expansive signature plaza that will be activated with community events.

“We have carefully curated a lively mix of retail experiences, including several new-to-Atlanta concepts and beloved community brands, that weave together the unique urban fabric of this district,” said James Linsley, President of GID Development Group, the developer of High Street. “With every visit, guests will delight in old favorites and new discoveries. We’re enjoying terrific momentum and interest from tenants. It’s an exciting time for High Street.”

The five newly announced retailers, totaling more than 31,000 square feet, include:

  • Jaguar Bolera: From the creator of Punch Bowl Social, Jaguar Bolera is a next-generation “eatertainment” destination encompassing 21,500 square feet of food, beverage and entertainment space with activities such as duckpin bowling, foosball, darts, board games and karaoke in private rooms.
  • Nando’s PERi-PERi: Opening its first location in Georgia, Nando’s PERi-PERi is bringing its beloved spicy flame-grilled chicken and authentic PERi-PERi sauce from Africa to Atlanta. The brand, which originated in Johannesburg, will debut its 3,300-square-foot flagship location at High Street with an 85-seat interior featuring South African art, lighting and furniture, as well as a patio for an additional 96 guests.
  • Velvet Taco: Velvet Taco, the one-of-a-kind taco concept serving premium food in a funky fast-casual setting, will open its second Atlanta location at High Street totaling 2,300 square feet. Velvet Taco’s chef-inspired menu offers more than 20 taco varieties, as well as creative sides and scratch-made red velvet cake, all created in-house with the finest, freshest ingredients.
  • Allen Edmonds: Relocating its Park Place location to High Street, luxury menswear retailer Allen Edmonds will open a revitalized storefront at the district. The new 1,800-square-foot location will have engaging experiential elements such as The Port Washington Studio, where guests can fully customize shoes from the leather to the laces. The luxury brand will showcase well-known lifestyle brands for men with all products crafted in the United States.
  • Skin Spirit: Opening its first location in Atlanta at High Street, Skin Spirit is the premier destination for medical aesthetics and skincare for face and body. The 2,300-square-foot med-spa will offer services such as injectables, laser hair removal, facials and more in seven treatment rooms.

Additionally, coastal-inspired The Hampton Social and contemporary Mexican restaurant Agave Bandido will bring their first Atlanta locations to High Street. Community favorites including nail salon Sugarcoat, sushi restaurant Cuddlefish and ice cream parlor Ben & Jerry’s will also open new presentations. Finally, activating and overlooking High Street’s event Plaza is Puttshack, the popular tech-infused mini-golf experience known for its crazy courses and cool vibes.

“High-quality brands and operators are attracted to High Street because of its prime location, bountiful gathering areas and upscale design,” said Molly Morgan, EVP of retail leasing for JLL’s 10Twelve. “This specialized mix of apparel, dining, and entertainment will create a vibrant and energetic consumer experience that is unlike anything else in Atlanta.”

About 10twelve:
JLL’s 10twelve curates the best retailers for the best properties. As a boutique agency leasing team, 10twelve is focused on finding those retailers and restaurants that are special to the market – the up-and-coming chef creating delicacies in a food truck, the local designer becoming a social media star or the experience that everyone in the market is talking about. While national retailers/restaurants may end up in the final tenant mix, they are not the anchors/stars of a 10twelve property.

The team works closely with local market brokers who have intimate knowledge about the up-and-coming brands in the market. In addition, 10twelve is supported by JLL’s global business development to ensure best-in-class retailers from around the globe are sought out and JLL’s property marketing team help bring the overall vision to life. 10twelve works with real estate investors who are not just filling space but creating a place and have extensive experience in curating special retail places located throughout the U.S. For more information about 10twelve, reach out to Molly Morgan or Allie Spangler.
